Rooted in Land. Built on Legacy.

Heritage & Legacy
Explore the Legacy
Overton Estates stands on land that has remained in the same family for more than a century. This land was not inherited casually — it was earned through determination, sacrifice, and an unwavering belief in ownership, education, and community. What exists here today is the result of generations who understood the power of land as both protection and possibility.
Our Story
The story of Overton Estates begins with hard work and vision. At a time when opportunity was limited, our family acquired and preserved this land with intention. It became a place not only to live and work, but to build something lasting — a foundation for future generations.
Education, responsibility, and follow-through were values passed down alongside the land itself. Those principles shaped how this space was used, protected, and respected, and they continue to guide every decision made at Overton Estates today.
The New Star Legacy
One of the most important chapters of our history is the New Star School — a school built to ensure children in the community had access to education when options were scarce. It stood as a symbol of self-determination and collective progress.
Today, the New Star legacy lives on through the New Star Barn and the programs rooted here. While the form has evolved, the mission remains the same: to create space for learning, growth, and opportunity, especially for young people.
From Then to Now
Overton Estates is not preserved as a relic of the past — it is activated as a living legacy. Horses, land stewardship, youth engagement, and community gatherings all serve a larger purpose: honoring where we come from while creating space for what’s next.
This land continues to teach patience, responsibility, and respect — lessons that transcend generations.
Our Commitment
We honor the past by caring for the land, the animals, and every person who steps onto this property. Overton Estates exists to preserve history, build community, and offer a place of connection, reflection, and growth.
More than a ranch. A living legacy.
